Ashley is a documentary photographer and journalist based in Charlotte, NC. She received her BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology and her MA in International Studies from the CUNY Graduate Center. Her work focuses on creating stories that change perceptions of stereotypes and social issues, often combining audio and text to give a voice to her subjects. When she is not documenting, she is most likely reading, debating, or baking a dessert that is more than likely too complicated to pull off for an amateur baker.
